HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLISON!!!

Allison turned 7 on Friday. Yep, 7. I know, it is really hard to believe!

She wanted to celebrate with a sleepover. So, 6 of her friends stayed the night. Yes, I am crazy, but they are really good girls and they had a lot of fun. They played twister, hot potato, had a balloon popping race, obstacle course, and watched movies. What a busy (and loud) house we had!!!!

Alli is very into the show Cake Boss on TLC, so when I asked her what she wanted for a birthday cake, I was not quite prepared for her answer. She wanted 3 tiers with lots of colors and shapes, and.....I was lost at the 3 tiers part. Well, like every other year, I start brainstorming and experimenting ways to fulfill my baby's request. I was quite pleased with the final result, plus, it didn't fall over or fall into itself! Alli was very excited and that is all I care about.

I think she had a great birthday. We are blessed with a wonderful daughter. We thank God for her everyday and pray that He will give her many, many years of good health and happiness!

Karate

For a while now, we have been promising Cole that he could start taking karate lessons, and finally got him started in January. He likes it and his teacher/coach is really impressed with his strength, athleticism, and coordination.

We are waiting to see if he will get all of his punches and kicks out of his system during class, or if he will come home and 'practice' them on all of us. So far so good. :)
